Are we sure the Boston Celtics’ high-stakes Kristaps Porzingis experiment is going to work this season?

With training camp just around the corner, the true start of that experiment is nearly upon us. It could be that many of us are looking at the move through green-tinted lenses.

The roster has seen changes. Veteran point guard Marcus Smart and reserve forward Grant Williams left, and much of the depth that made Boston a sturdy squad left with them. Meanwhile, mixed opinions exist on Porzingis. Some believe he can be a valuable third star. Others question his consistency and health.

Together, the season might go quite poorly for Boston if results don’t break as they’d hoped. But how reasonable is it to worry?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Beat” podcast recently talked it over with guest Seth Landman; check the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
