Are UNC basketball recruiting targets a potential package deal?

Will these two recruits be a package deal for the UNC basketball program?

North Carolina’s 2025 recruiting big board has started to take shape as Hubert Davis and his staff have identified top targets. Two of those targets are Malachi Moreno and Braylon Mullins, both having visits set to UNC this fall.

And while North Carolina will have the chance to impress each of the recruits on the visit, there could be a package deal on the table.

In an interview with 247Sports, Moreno dished on whether or not he and Mullins would team up at the next level. His answer left the door open:

“Yeah, we have talked about (playing together),” Moreno told 247Sports last weekend. “When we are with each other, we play basketball together so much that we don’t talk about basketball much. We talk about what happens outside of basketball. We have definitely given it some thought whether we would play together in college.”

The two are teammates on Indiana Elite for the 3SSB Circuit this Summer, so North Carolina has had the chance to see both of them play. They both received offers around the same time as well.

With visits on tap in September, the Tar Heels will get a look at where they potentially stand in the recruitment of both. And landing both would be a dream for the Tar Heels’ 2025 class.
