The Boston Celtics, who have consistently competed in the Eastern Conference postseason in recent years, are contemplating more significant moves during the offseason after trading veteran point guard Marcus Smart for star Washington Wizards big man Kristaps Porzingis.
Despite their previous stability, the Celtics have shown a willingness to make changes by trading Smart. Yet, they might bring back restricted free agent forward Grant Williams as well. With a new assistant coaching staff led by second-year coach Joe Mazzulla, the next version of the Celtics is taking shape.
