Are the Boston Celtics a good fit for Domantas Sabonis? One NBA analyst thinks so

The trick is getting the Pacers to agree to an offer.

The Boston Celtics might be in need of some change when it comes to their roster, as they have yet to find the consistency they need with the players they have as they take two steps forward only to take one more back on what feels like a weekly basis.

And with NBA trade season about to kick off in earnest and the Indiana Pacers reportedly open to move a number of players on their roster, the speculation has already begun as to whether any current Pacers might fare better in green and white as well as the reverse. Such speculation percolated up from BasketballNews.com’s Nekias Duncan, who sees Indiana big man Domantas Sabonis as a potentially intriguing fit with the Celtics.

The question for Duncan is as much about the return package as it is about fit, which makes sense given the current state of Boston’s roster as having a bunch of solid guys but few moveable players who pop.
