Josh Jacobs:
Not many Alabama fans even knew Josh Jacobs’ name coming into the 2018 college football season. Now, we are nearing the 2019 NFL Playoffs and Jacobs is a force to be reckoned with in the ‘Rookie of the Year’ debate.
After being the first running back taken in the 2019 NFL draft by the Oakland Raiders, expectations were high, but everyone was unsure what to make of the seemingly undersized back from Alabama.
Well, no one expected him to take over this offense like he has.
In 13 games, Jacobs has 242 carries for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns. He also has 20 receptions for 166 yards.
It seems as if he finds his way into national headlines with every play he makes.

Jacobs has had some issues with a shoulder injury in the 2019 season which limited him, but he has still been very impressive nonetheless.
If he can keep up this level of production and the Raiders’ offense continues to feed him the ball, he will be a household name synonymous with ‘elite’.
