Kind of hard to play football when your team has 15 players. Cohen showed up for its game Friday with that many players and the opponent was powerhouse Bishop Newman with Arch Manning, from the famed football family.
Manning played the first quarter before exiting 9-of-11 for 170 yards and five touchdowns. The score after one, 46-0.
The final was 76-0 as Newman tried to apply the brakes.
Newman led 60-0 at halftime and a running clock was instituted for the entire second half.
As a result, the Greenies ran just two offensive plays in the half — one of which was a 31-yard touchdown run by reserve running back Robert Kerrigan for the final points of the game late in the third quarter.
Newman totaled 257 yards of offense Friday night while holding Cohen to minus-16 in the first half and minus-7 for the entire game.
Arch Manning throws five touchdowns in one quarter, sits rest of way in Newman's 76-0 victory.🤯 @NewmanAthletes

The Greenies took advantage of four turnovers and ragged special teams play to drop Cohen to 0-4. The Green Hornets have been outscored 224-0 in those four games while two other contests have been called off due to COVID-19 concerns.
