ARCA Menards Series race at Daytona moved to late Friday night

The ARCA Menards Series race at Daytona International Speedway has been moved to late Friday night after the NASCAR Truck Series.

The ARCA Menards Series race at Daytona International Speedway was scheduled for Saturday at 1:30 PM ET, but that has been changed. Due to the weather forecast on Saturday, the ARCA Menards Series will run its race at Daytona after the NASCAR Truck Series on Friday night. The series has a start time of approximately 10:30 PM ET.

Due to college basketball, the Daytona race will start on FOX Sports 2 before moving to FOX Sports 1. Once the basketball game concludes, ARCA will have coverage on a better network. This situation is unprecedented, like NASCAR at the Busch Light Clash two weeks ago. Mother Nature has taken the schedule and turned it upside down again.

As of now, the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Daytona is still scheduled for Saturday evening. If the race is postponed, the Xfinity Series will likely compete on Monday. The same goes for the Daytona 500, which also has rain in the forecast. It’s not a new season of NASCAR without Mother Nature having a say, and hopefully, the weather can hold off this weekend.
