You best prepare for more combat drops, as Apex Legends is about to kick off another seasonal update.
On Monday, Electronic Arts (EA) and Respawn announced that Apex Legends: Eclipse, better known as Season 15, will launch on Nov. 1, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Respawn is still keeping many details close to the chest, but we know there’ll be a new battle pass, map, gifting feature, and Catalyst — the latest hero.
Catalyst, the brand-new defensive legend, is the first transgender character in Apex Legends. According to GamesRadar, Respawn sought the help of GLAAD, an American non-profit organization (NGO) that advocates for LGBTQ individuals, while working on Catalyst.

It’s been quite a year for Apex Legends. Last season saw record-breaking concurrent player counts, especially after some of the nastier bugs started getting ironed out.
Unfortunately, many developers at Respawn have been experiencing severe harassment, mainly due to all of the glitches. Things got so bad that rapper T-Pain chimed in and told the community to settle down.
Respawn will release more details about Season 15 in the coming weeks.
