Apex Legends Season 14 is almost here, bringing a host of balance changes along with an update to Kings Canyon and a new Legend called Vantage. But it’s not all new stuff – this season, we’re seeing the return of some fan favorites.
First up, the Skullpiercer Rifling hop-up is coming back to the game. Removed in Season 9, Skullpiercer increased the weapon’s headshot multiplier: the Wingman from 2.0x to 2.25x and the Longbow from 2.0x to 2.5x.
For Season 14, the Skullpiercer will also work with the 30-30 Repeater. Fuze is smiling somewhere.
If you’re a fan of sharpshooting, there’s another reason to be excited: the G7 Scout will finally return as floor loot. You’ll be able to use that with double tap on or off. Personally, I prefer it as a single-fire weapon, but it’s nice to have options.
The Volt energy SMG is also returning to the floor loot pool. Pair that with the new laser sight attachment to delete your opponents.
So, what’s going into the crate? Season 14 will see the Bocek Compound Bow and the Rampage head into the care packages. While we don’t have specifics, these will be amped-up versions of the weapons with some extra bells and whistles.
