AP Poll: Swinney and the Tigers climb a few spots in the rankings

Swinney and the Tigers show improvement in the latest AP Poll.

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have moved up the rankings in the latest AP Poll after their 31-16 home win over Scott Satterfield and the Louisville Cardinals in Death Valley.

Clemson, 9-1 (7-0 ACC), has moved from No.12 to No.9 in the latest AP Top 25, reclaiming a spot back in the top 10. It was a solid three-spot jump for Swinney’s team as they aim to win out and finish the regular season strong.

The Tigers’ season is far from over, as the Tigers will officially face North Carolina in the ACC Championship. The Tar Heels ranked No.13 in the updated AP Top 25. Swinney’s team will next be in action Saturday, November 19th, as Miami heads to Clemson for a matchup in Death Valley.
