Two boxers ended up on Forbes’ list of the 50 highest paid athletes over the past year.
Canelo Alvarez ranked No. 5, with earnings of $110 million ($100 million in the ring, $10 outside it) between May 1, 2022 and the same date this year, as previously reported by Boxing Junkie.
He was joined by Anthony Joshua at No. 28, with $53 million ($50 million and $3 million).
The list was dominated by basketball players (15), golfers (12), football players (10) and soccer players (6). Formula 1 and tennis tied boxing with two representatives.
