Anthony Davis wins Western Conference Player of the Week award

For the second time this season, Lakers superstar Anthony Davis has won the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week award.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis has been rounding back into form as the best version of himself.

He has had three straight games with at least 38 points, including a 40-point performance on 15-of-20 shooting in a blowout win against the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

The Lakers have been surging, and Davis’ play has been a chief reason. The team is on the verge of getting the sixth spot in the Western Conference and avoiding the play-in tournament, which has been its goal.

The big man has been rewarded with the Western Conference Player of the Week award as a result.

This is the second time Davis has won the award this season, and it has been yet another reminder of how dominant a player he is and how much of a problem he is for opposing teams.
