Anthony Davis’ top 10 games of the 2021-22 season: No. 6

In November, with LeBron James injured and the Lakers struggling to stay above .500, Anthony Davis dominated versus the San Antonio Spurs.

Early in the 2021-22 season, Anthony Davis was healthy and playing like a man who was highly motivated to prove something.

On Nov. 14, with his Los Angeles Lakers sputtering at 7-6, Davis looked to improve their fortunes versus the San Antonio Spurs.

The onus was squarely on him, as LeBron James was out of action because of an ab injury.

Davis met the challenge, scoring 34 points on 14-of-24 shooting from the field and 2-of-3 from 3-point land, to go along with 15 rebounds and six assists.

His 19 first-quarter points and 27 points by halftime helped make sure the Lakers built a double-digit lead by the second quarter.

Although the Spurs made it close late, L.A. was able to shut the door and claim a 114-106 victory.

There was no doubt Davis put his imprint on the game and flaunted his all-around talent and skill on both ends of the floor to get the Lakers a win on this afternoon.
