The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday to take a 3-1 series lead on the Denver Nuggets, but Lakers fans were worried after superstar big man Anthony Davis suffered an ankle injury late in the game.
In the fourth quarter, Davis landed on the foot of Denver’s Paul Millsap while shooting and rolled his left ankle. Davis was in obvious pain on the floor, but remained in the game and played a key role defensively as the Lakers closed out the game. Davis said after the game that he was “fine,” but on Friday, the Lakers listed Davis as questionable for Game 5.
Will cut off my ankle for Anthony Davis right now.

On Friday, Lakers coach Frank Vogel said that both of his stars, David and LeBron James, were receiving treatment for knocks suffered in Game 4, but confirmed that both would be “good to go” on Saturday night.

“They’ll continue to get their treatment. Both are experiencing some soreness but are good to go.”
Game 5 will begin at 9:00 p.m. ET on TNT.
