The Los Angeles Lakers had one of their most prolific halves of scoring on Thursday night when they visited Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets. They made 11 3-pointers in the first period and scored 75 points in the first half alone, but it was a shot that didn’t count that was perhaps the most impressive moment of the game.
Anthony Davis, who was one of the few Lakers to struggle from the field with his shot in the first half and was questionable leading into the game, converted a ridiculous half-court shot after being fouled by Caris LeVert. The shot was waved off as the foul was ruled a take foul, but the video and the shot can never be erased.

The Lakers currently lead 88-75 early in the third quarter of their game against the Nets. The Lakers are looking to improve to 3-1 on their current road trip before wrapping things up in Philadelphia against Ben Simmons and the 76ers. The Lakers already have five different players who have scored in double-figures.
