Anthony Davis exits Lakers-Nuggets game with right foot injury

Just when he was sustaining some phenomenal play, Anthony Davis got injured and may have to miss some time.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ Anthony Davis has been on an absolute tear lately, and he has probably been playing the best basketball of his life over the past month.

Over his last 13 games, he has averaged 32.4 points on 64.1% shooting, 14 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots per contest.

However, some Lakers fans have been taking such play with a grain of salt, as they’ve almost been waiting for him to suffer an injury.

On Friday versus the Denver Nuggets, Davis was seen limping in the first quarter. He exited the game at halftime and didn’t return because of what was called a right foot injury.

At the time of this posting, no other details on his injury were available.
