Anthony Alfredo won’t return to the No. 78 car for B.J. McLeod Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series during the 2024 season.

[autotag]Anthony Alfredo[/autotag] announced on November 15 that he will not return to the No. 78 Xfinity car for [autotag]B.J. McLeod Motorsports[/autotag] during the 2024 NASCAR season. Alfredo joined the organization for his second full-time season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2023 and finished the year with two top-10 finishes and a 24.1 average finishing position.

The driver of the No. 78 car had a best finish of eighth place on two occasions at Daytona and Martinsville. In Alfredo’s announcement, he stated that he does have “exciting new plans” for the 2024 season. Those plans will be shared with the public sooner rather than later. It is currently unknown where Alfredo will be heading in 2024.

Overall, Alfredo did well for B.J. McLeod Motorsports and deserves what is coming for him. As for B.J. McLeod Motorsports, it is unknown if they will field a full-time driver during the 2024 NASCAR season. Live Fast Motorsports, which is the NASCAR Cup Series team that B.J. McLeod co-owns, is scaling back to part-time so the Xfinity Series team could be impacted too.
