[autotag]Beard Motorsports[/autotag] announced on Wednesday morning that [autotag]Anthony Alfredo[/autotag] will drive the No. 62 Cup car for the organization at the 2024 Daytona 500. Alfredo is also set to compete in the first NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway with no other events added to his current schedule with the race team.
The full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series driver will join Our Motorsports after spending one season at B.J. McLeod Motorsports. Alfredo also made select starts in the Cup Series with Live Fast Motorsports due to his ride with B.J. McLeod Motorsports in the Xfinity Series. Now, he will return to the Daytona 500 for the first time since 2021.

Overall, this is a good partnership as Beard Motorsports runs most of the superspeedway races in the Cup Series. Alfredo has been fairly consistent over the last two years in the Xfinity Series and deserves an opportunity to compete at the highest level. The rest of Beard Motorsports’ schedule is unknown, but Alfredo is currently set for two events.
