Christian McCaffrey won’t be alone in the 99 Club.
After the cover athlete and star running back, McCaffrey, was rightfully given a 99 rating in the upcoming Madden 25, another member of the San Francisco 49ers joined the exclusive club.
Left tackle Trent Williams became the second member of the 49ers offense to join the 99 club. Similar to McCaffrey, Eli Manning presented Williams with a special package for his spot in the 99 club. Williams joins McCaffrey, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce as members of the 99 club in Madden 25.
While McCaffrey made history as the first 49ers running back to earn a 99 overall rating, Williams is the only offensive lineman in 49ers history to join the 99 club on Madden.

Madden 25 isn’t the first time Williams has been named to the 99 club. In 2023, Williams earned a 99 overall rating for the first time. Since 2015, Madden has only dipped below a 90 overall rating once in 2016. Williams has 10 different editions of Madden where he has a 92 or better rating. Williams has been a 95 or better six times.
Madden 25 will hit the shelves on August 17.
