After being one of the hottest teams to start the 2025 recruiting cycle, Dabo Swinney and the Clemson coaching staff have had an incredibly cold run of late.
Each week, it seems top targets on Clemson’s board are committing elsewhere, with another one happening on the 4th of July. 4-star WR Samari Reed (Monarch, FL) announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Thursday, another big miss for the Tigers, who are looking to add another wide receiver to their 2025 class.
According to Rivals rankings, Reed is the No. 149 overall player in the 2025 class and the No. 30 overall player at the position, both of which are his highest rankings among any recruiting websites.
Clemson hopes to flip a former Ole Miss commit, Dillon Alfred, their top wide receiver target left in the class.
