Just a day after Jonathan Taylor was named to the Big Ten All-Decade first team, another Badger running back joined him on the second team. Melvin Gordon was announced alongside Ohio State’s Ezekiel Elliot as one of the RB’s on the Big Ten All-Decade second team.

The former Badger and current Denver Bronco tore it up in Madison from 2011-2014. He averaged an absurd 7.8 yards per carry to go along with 45 touchdowns during his time with the Badgers. His 2,587 rushing yards and 29 rushing touchdowns in 2014 were both number one in the country. In 2014, Gordon was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and the Doak Walker Award winner for the nation’s best running back.
