Was the Purdue game Kyle Hamilton’s best to date at Notre Dame?

Star safety Kyle Hamilton has had some big games at Notre Dame but few, if any, have been better than his performance Saturday against Purdue.

Hamilton recorded 10 tackles, defended a pair of passes, and intercepted a near touchdown pass that would have brought Purdue back within one score.  As a result the Bednarik Award named Hamilton their player of the week.

Hamilton will be key in Saturday’s game against Wisconsin, which figures to be as tough of opponent as Notre Dame will face this fall.
