Announcers set for Texans vs. Packers Week 7 game

The Houston Texans will have the finest from CBS calling Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Houston Texans take the primetime stage at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers.

As the battle in what could be a potential Super Bowl preview takes place in Week 7, the top crew for CBS will be on the call at noon CT. Jim Nantz will handle the play-by-play. Tony Romo will serve as the color commentator.
Tracy Wolfson will handle sideline reporter duties once more.

Both the Texans (5-1) and Packers (4-2) are coming off impressive wins behind an impressive performance from each young passer. C.J. Stroud tossed three touchdowns against one interception and completed over 65% of his passes en route to a 41-21 win over the New England Patriots.

Meanwhile, Jordan Love completed 22-of-32 pass attempts for 258 yards and four touchdowns against one interception. Nine receivers caught a pass, including Romeo Doubs, who returned from his one-game suspension to haul in a pair of scores.

“Going against Jordan Love this week, it will be the best quarterback we’ve seen this year,” Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday. “So, it’ll be a really, really tough matchup, really good team. Green Bay has done a great job this year just – they’re explosive on offense. And they pose a lot of challenges not only with Love, but the guys he’s getting the ball to.”

The winner of Sunday’s game should garner national praise as a contender for the big game in New Orleans. Green Bay opens as a 2.5-point favorite at home.
