Announcers set for Colts vs. Bears Week 3 matchup

The announcing crew is set for the Indianapolis Colts Week 3 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Here is what you need to know.

The Indianapolis Colts will host the Chicago Bears for a Week 3 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium, and the broadcast crew for the game has been announced.

Kickoff will be at 1:00 PM ET and the TV coverage will be with CBS. Andrew Catalon will be doing the play-by-play. Former NFL running back Tiki Barber and former NFL defensive back Jason McCourty will be providing the analysis, while AJ Ross will be on the sidelines.

Currently winless, the Indianapolis Colts find themselves in a difficult hole to dig out of. Although we are only two games into the season, over the last 30-plus years, an 0-2 start has not bode well for a team’s playoff hopes.

While there are a number of early issues for the Colts, turning things around begins with being better against the run. Getting trounced in the run game creates a negative ripple-effect to the rest of the defense and even the offense that can oftentimes just be too much to overcome.

The challenge of turning things around in this regard has gotten even more difficult with defensive tackle DeForest Buckner on injured reserve.

The Bears will enter this game at 1-1 on the year. Through two games, the offense has struggled to get going, but the defense has been quite formidable.
