Announcers set for Bears vs. Packers Week 1 opener

The Bears will face the Packers in Week 1. See who will be calling the game on FOX:

The Chicago Bears will host the Green Bay Packers to open the 2023 NFL season, which kicks off a new chapter in this historic rivalry.

Following the departure of Aaron Rodgers, now with the New York Jets, it’ll be Justin Fields vs. Jordan Love at Soldier Field.

The Bears’ Week 1 game will air on FOX at 3:25 p.m. CT. The television commentators for the game are Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), Greg Olsen (analyst), Erin Andrews (sideline) and Tom Rinaldi (sideline).

Chicago is coming off a busy offseason, where they improved on both offense and defense. That included the additions of wide receiver DJ Moore, linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards and defensive end Yannick Ngakoue. After finishing 3-14, can they go from worst to first?

Meanwhile, Green Bay is coming off a 8-9 season, which included a brutal Week 18 loss to the Detroit Lions that smashed their playoff hopes. It was Rodgers’ last game as a Packer, which means we’ve reached the Love era. But is Love the answer at quarterback?

It’s no secret the Bears have been dominated in this rivalry, as the Packers are 23-3 dating back to 2011. But Chicago has a chance to get back on the right side of this rivalry — and break an eight-game losing streak against Green Bay — on Sunday.
