Announcers set for Bears vs. 49ers Week 1 opener

The Bears open the 2022 season against the 49ers. See who will be calling the game on FOX:

The Chicago Bears kick off the 2022 NFL season in just a few days, and fans are eager to see what this team can do under new head coach Matt Eberflus and general manager Ryan Poles.

But they face a challenge to open the season against the San Francisco 49ers, a team coming off an NFC Championship appearance. Although, they’re transitioning to second-year quarterback and first-time starter Trey Lance.

The Bears’ season opener will be televised on FOX at Noon CT. The television commentators for the game are Joe Davis, Daryl “Moose” Johnston and Pam Oliver, which is the second team for FOX.

For Chicago, there are plenty of questions with this retooled roster. That includes on offense with second-year quarterback Justin Fields, who will get to show what he can do in this new offense under Luke Getsy. But there are concerns about his receivers behind Darnell Mooney and protection with the offensive line.

The new-look Bears defense will also have its hands full with this San Francisco offense, which possesses a number of playmakers, including receiver Deebo Samuel.
