Some people say they’re going to do good in the community and then do nothing. Then there’s Jim Harbaugh. It turns out the multimillionaire coach practices what he preaches and isn’t too good to get his hands dirty amidst a crisis.
On Wednesday, ice storms raged across all of lower Michigan, and Ann Arbor was one of many communities hit. As officers worked to clear a downed tree, a van pulled up with someone who wanted to help clear the street, and to the officers’ surprise, it was none other than Jim Harbaugh.
They revealed more via footage captured on their body cams.
To the surprise of Ofc Cooper, the good Samaritan was @CoachJim4UM who wanted to help clear the road. Ofc Cooper then gave Coach a pair of work gloves and the two of them went to work. (2/3)

It may be a small gesture in the grand scheme, but it’s always good to see people doing what they can to help make the lives of those around them easier.
