Andy Reid’s got a Super Bowl to get ready for, but that doesn’t mean he’s opposed to taking a break to discuss his famous mac and cheese recipe.
During Super Bowl Opening Night on Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs head coach was asked to recall his now-famous mac and cheese recipe he once shared with Yahoo reporter — and former For The Win writer — Charles McDonald while sitting in an airport.

On an evening filled with “boring” questions about football and schemes, the joy on Reid’s face the moment he heard McDonald’s question was palpable.
And it’s important you know that five kinds of cheese are good, but seven is even better:

Incredible. I love that Reid also notes he could simply pull up his phone and find the exact recipe specifics if he wanted to.
What else is stored in the tiny digital supercomputer of an offensive genius? What other culinary delights has Reid not yet shared with the football world? Perhaps, with vital in-depth investigative reporting, we’ll one day find out.
