Andy Katz of the Big Ten Network and NCAA Basketball expert put together a list of his Top 10 rivalries in Men’s College Basketball. The list included the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans.
The Bruins and Trojans came in at fifth in the ranking of the Top 10 rivalries. Both teams are starting their quest in the Big Ten this season. Of course, Duke and North Carolina topped the list. Up after the Devils and Tar Heels was the Louisville Cardinals against the Kentucky Wildcats.
Rounding out the Top 5 before the two former Pac-12 teams feature the Indiana Hoosiers vs. Purdue Boilermakers and Cincinnati Bearcats against Xavier.

Since the 1998 season the Bruins and Trojans have played 60 times. UCLA has won 36 of them. The last time they played each other was back in February with the Trojans winning the game by 6. UCLA is 21-11 at home against the Trojans. The Bruins have won four out of the last six in the series.
