Things look much different after some big names withdrew from the NBA Draft and decided to come back to college. For the UCLA Bruins, nothing changed on that front as Adem Bona stayed in the NBA Draft.
The Bruins have landed a ton of talent in the portal and brought in Trent Perry in a massive commitment. College basketball insider Andy Katz compiled his top 36 power rankings and had UCLA listed at No. 18.
The Bruins didn’t hesitate to dive deep in the transfer portal and the additions of Kobe Johnson, Skyy Clark, Tyler Bilodeau and Eric Dailey should put Mick Cronin’s crew back in play.
Purdue and Ohio State are ahead of UCLA in these rankings, although UCLA was in the top spot in the Big Ten power rankings by 247Sports.
The talent Mick Cronin has brought in is a terrific haul, but questions remain on whether or not the players will gel together well.
