The Andy & JJ Dalton Foundation once again enters the spotlight for a feel-good story due to circumstances surrounding Andy Dalton.

This time the story is all about another influx of donations in the wake of Dalton’s release from the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Madeline Mitchell, the foundation received roughly 900 donations totaling north of $25,000 in the wake of the Bengals cutting Dalton on Thursday.

This is far from the first time Dalton’s foundation has made the news. Back in 2018, Dalton sent the Buffalo Bills to the playoffs and Bills fans responded with roughly $400,000 in donations.

Last season when Dalton got benched, fans flooded the foundation with donations primarily in $14 intervals.

As the Dalton era comes to an end in Cincinnati, it’s only fitting his work in the commnity takes center stage again while behind the scenes, he offers up some advice to Joe Burrow while passing the torch.
