The Rams suffered a major blow in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Seahawks when Andrew Whitworth went down with a knee injury. He had to be carted off the field and was visibly emotional as he was taken to the locker room.
The Rams quickly ruled Whitworth out for the remainder of the game, which is never a good sign. Sean McVay will have an update at some point and Whitworth will likely have an MRI done on Monday, which will provide further clarity.
During the game, Whitworth shared a message with fans on Instagram, which was posted by the Rams on Twitter.

It’s hard to take much away from Whitworth’s message, but it certainly doesn’t sound like it’s something minor. Hopefully Whitworth is able to return this season and this isn’t the last we’ve seen from the All-Pro left tackle.
