Andrew Whitworth was selected to represent the Tigers in the 2024 SEC Legends class.

After a stellar college and Super Bowl-winning NFL career, former LSU offensive tackle [autotag]Andrew Whitworth[/autotag] has been named to the 2024 SEC Legends class and will be honored at the SEC Legends Celebration on Dec. 6 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.

Whitworth and the rest of the SEC Legends class will also be honored prior to the SEC Championship Game the following day.

A four-year starter during his LSU career, which lasted from 2001-05, Whitworth as a member of the 2003 national championship team. He earned First Team All-SEC honors in his final two seasons and was named a Second Team All-American in 2005.

Whitworth went in the second round of the 2006 NFL draft and would play 16 seasons in the league — 11 with the Cincinnati Bengals and five with the Los Angeles Rams, where he won a Super Bowl in his final season in 2021.

The 2021 Walter Payton Man of the Year was a two-time First-Team All-Pro and one-time Second-Team All-Pro selection. He was also selected to four Pro Bowls in his career, in which he became the oldest tackle in NFL history and the oldest offensive lineman to win a world championship.
