While the wound of Lincoln Riley’s departure to USC is still fresh, the Oklahoma Sooners presumably have a bowl game to prepare for. And thanks to Bob Stoops, they’ll have a steady, experienced hand at the wheel.

Taking to Twitter to express his appreciation was center Andrew Raym who called the former turned interim head coach Bob Stoops “real family” as Raym and the Sooners soldier on.

Though de-commitments are running rampant on the recruiting trail, the team is working to stick together amid the transition. And as the Sooners wait for their bowl destination, which will likely come this weekend, they’ll have a seasoned hand that’s stayed loyal to the program leading the way.
