This is but one of several questions that surround a matchup between Arlovski (29-19 MMA, 18-13 UFC) and [autotag]Tanner Boser[/autotag] (19-6-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC), which is expected to take place Oct. 3 at a UFC event in a location yet to be determined.

TSN Sports’ Aaron Bronsteter first reported the planned booking, and MMA Junkie subsequently confirmed the contest with a person with knowledge of the agreement who wished to remain anonymous because the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

Future UFC Hall of Famer Arlovski last saw action in May, picking up a decision win over former PFL champ Philipe Lins. That result served as a rebound from a disappointing November loss to hard-hitting Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

Meanwhile, Canada’s Boser has gained serious momentum in the past five weeks with a pair of victories over Raphael Pessoa and Lins. The Pessoa win also earned him a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus, after which he did this:
