Andre Drummond attended Blue Coats game to support the young Sixers

Philadelphia 76ers big man Andre Drummond went to Delaware to support the young Sixers.

With the Philadelphia 76ers having an off day on Friday after taking a tough loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, it gave the team an opportunity to do other things.

For example, they could take a trip down to Delaware to watch the team’s G League affiliate, the Blue Coats. The Sixers have some young players in Delaware such as Paul Reed and Charles Bassey who could use the support of the veterans when needed.

Andre Drummond took advantage of this as he took a trip to see the team matchup with the Westchester Knicks. The Blue Coats came away with a 93-91 victory as Bassey had 16 points and 14 rebounds and Reed had 15 and nine rebounds.

It’s good to see guys like Drummond come down to the G League and support the younger Sixers. It is stuff like this that builds team bonding and it allows a team to grow fully.
