Former USC Trojan and Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St Brown has been ranked as the No. 23 overall player in the NFL for the 2024 season by NFL.com.
St. Brown is coming off an All-Pro season with 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns on 119 catches, all career-highs. He was named to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career. In three seasons, St. Brown has 315 catches for 3,588 yards and 21 touchdowns.
He made his latest jump by transforming from a 2022 breakout player to a 2023 superstar, setting career highs across the board. His 10 touchdown catches ranked fourth in the NFL, while his 119 receptions and 1,515 yards both placed third. It’s little wonder that Detroit responded this offseason by making him the third-highest-paid receiver in the NFL.
St Brown and the Lions came agonizingly close to making a first Super Bowl appearance last season. The USC star hopes to take Detroit that one extra and final step in this upcoming 2024 campaign. If he can create that achievement, Amon-Ra St. Brown will become one of the most celebrated and beloved athletes in Detroit history.
