[autotag]AM Racing[/autotag] had never competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series before the 2023 season, and it went well overall. Brett Moffit finished the year with one top-5 finish and nine top-10 finishes while earning a 17.9 average finishing position. The driver of the No. 25 car finished 15th in the point standings, which is solid for his first year.
The organization has competed in the NASCAR Truck Series for six years, but its jump to the Xfinity Series is its biggest milestone yet. In fact, Hailie Deegan will drive the No. 15 Xfinity car full-time for AM Racing, while Moffitt’s status with the organization is uncertain. This was under a bigger microscope after he won the Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.
What happens to Moffitt in 2024 remains unclear; however, AM Racing should be pleased with its first Xfinity Series season. The 31-year-old driver ran well, and with one season of experience with the team under his belt, it would be smart to bring him back. After all, it would be wise to have a veteran presence with Deegan coming to the scene.
