Alvin Henderson includes Auburn in top-10

Auburn is still alive after the four-star running back made his first cut.

One of the nation’s top running backs for the 2025 cycle recently revealed his top-10 list, and Auburn has made the cut.

Alvin Henderson, a four-star running back from Elba High School, shared his top-10 schools with On3’s Chad Simmons on Tuesday, which includes Auburn. Several SEC schools join Auburn such as Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and Tennessee. Oregon, Florida State, Miami, Penn State, and USC also remain in the hunt.

“Each of these schools are now reaching out to me about twice a day. It is helping me with my relationships and that means a lot. It is the position coach, assistant coaches and they are not only talking with me, but they are showing me drills and showing me how they can use me.”

While he did not officially reveal who his top schools are, Henderson told Simmons that his relationship with Auburn continues to grow. Auburn was also one of the first programs to reach out to Henderson, joining Florida State.

Henderson is a 5-9, 185-pound running back from Elba, Alabama. He is rated as a four-star by all four major recruiting sites and is considered to be a top-10 running back for the 2025 class. According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, Auburn has a 79.2% chance to land Henderson.
