LeBron James is set to turn 37 years old at the end of the month, and yet he can still move with incredible athleticism befitting someone nearly half his age.
On Wednesday, with the Dallas Mavericks hosting the Los Angeles Lakers, James showcased his graceful athleticism on this superhuman leaping block in the first quarter of play. Mavericks’ Jalen Brunson was able to get a shot off deep in the paint, but the play was blocked by James’ running leap to bat the ball away.
Not only that, James’ head basically grazes the bottom of the backboard on the block, showcasing just how far he jumps to stop the ball.

A still image of the block is even better, as James just towers over everyone else with his leap.

It’s so awesome to see James still giving it his all each and every night out on the court. Only a few greats in every sport get to this age and are still able to compete at the highest level, and we’re so lucky James is one of them.
