Ever since reports surfaced about Deshaun Watson’s displeasure with the Texans, many have highlighted the Jets as a potential landing spot considering the amount of draft capital Joe Douglas could offer Houston. While no trade is imminent or even necessarily likely, that hasn’t stopped everyone from proposing potential packages for the superstar quarterback.
One such hypothetical deal from Good Morning Football caught the eye of impending free agent wide receiver Allen Robinson, who the Jets could target this offseason. Robinson liked a tweet proposing a trade in which the Texans sent Watson to the Jets for three first-round picks and the No. 34 pick in 2021.

Robinson, who caught 200 balls for 2,397 yards and 13 touchdowns over the past two years for the Bears, is unsure about his future in Chicago. He very well may be a free agent target for the receiver-strapped Jets and could be even more enticed to sign in New York if Douglas traded for a quarterback like Watson.
Again, this is all speculative considering no trade could even occur before the 2021 league begins on March 17. But it’s interesting to watch prospective free agents weigh-in – however slightly – on potential blockbuster deals.
