In front of a homecoming crowd at Kinnick Stadium, the Iowa Hawkeyes defeated the Purdue Boilermakers, 20-14. If you’ve seen one Iowa football win, you’ve pretty much seen them all. This one was no different. The passing attack was atrocious.
Meanwhile, Kaleb Johnson broke off some big runs and Phil Parker’s defense was their dominant, usual selves. Cooper DeJean was the big man in the secondary, adding another massive interception and 41-yard runback to his resume.
