Over the weekend, college football had a ton of storylines to follow, which caused millions of viewers to tune in to see how the games would shake out. One of the most viewed was the top-25 battle between No. 20 Texas A&M and No. 7 Notre Dame.
The game lived up to its billing as a tough back-and-forth defensive matchup. It was a true toss-up most of the game, while Notre Dame’s big plays to pull ahead and emerge were just enough to emerge as the 23-13 winner in a hostile environment.
Several questions were answered in front of over 100,000 fans and 8.2 million viewers. In ABC’s Most-Streamed regular-season college football game ever, the Notre Dame offensive line held up, not allowing a single sack. On the flip side, they saw a Texas A&M offense that never really got anything going.
It was a great day of football, and the viewers were excited that their favorite teams were back on the field duking it out for bragging rights, as proven by the numbers below.
