All 4 of Rams’ preseason games will be played at new stadiums

The Rams will play their preseason games at SoFi Stadium and Allegiant Stadiums this summer.

Whether the preseason takes place as scheduled is up in the air due to the coronavirus pandemic, but if all four exhibition games are played this summer, the Rams will make themselves comfortable at SoFi Stadium.

In addition to the regular-season schedule, the Rams also released their preseason slate of games. Of the four they’ll play, three of them will be held at SoFi Stadium. The other will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, which is also a brand new venue.

Here’s the tentative preseason plan for the Rams in 2020.

  • Aug. 13-17 vs. New Orleans Saints
  • Aug 20-24 at Los Angeles Chargers
  • Aug. 27-30 vs. Denver Broncos
  • Sep. 3-4 at Las Vegas Raiders

The Rams get the benefit of playing close to home in the preseason, only leaving Los Angeles for one game – which involves a short flight to Vegas.

Again, it’s not certain that the preseason will be held as expected with the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, but it’s pretty cool that the Rams will be breaking in new stadiums in all four of their games.
