Aliens: Fireteam Elite is coming to Xbox Game Pass on December 14

Stay frosty, Marine.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite  will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting Dec. 14.

Soon, the co-op third-person shooter set in the Alien universe will be free for all  Xbox Game Pass  subscribers. Not only will Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s  base game be up for grabs, all of its first season DLC will be as well. Best of all, Season 2: Point Defense is coming out the same day that Aliens: Fireteam Elite  arrives on the service. Season 2 is adding new weapons, attachments, challenge cards and even a whole new mode. So anyone that has yet to give the game a go will have tons of content to play through.

If you’re unfamiliar with Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s  premise, think Left 4 Dead  or Back 4 Blood, only with swarms of xenomorph. Anyone that’s a fan of the classic James Cameron film should try it out.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite  does enough right to be plenty worthwhile for a trio of co-op shooter fans who’d rather battle hordes of xenomorphs than the usual zombies,” Campbell said  via IGN. “The caveats, of course, are having to put up with repetitive scenarios and some excruciatingly drawn-out missions. Aliens: Fireteam Elite  may not be a triumphant win, but it’s far from a game over, man.”

Again, who knows if this guy is a trusted critic. I bet he thinks Alien 3  is a pretty good flick, even.
