Alex Smith ruled out for game vs. Seahawks; Dwayne Haskins to start

Washington officially ruled out QB Alex Smith for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks on Sunday, leaving second-year QB Dwayne Haskins to start.
This is not a huge surprise, seeing as Smith has been unable to practice much this week with a calf injury.
It does come as somewhat of a shock that Smith was not listed as questionable, at least forcing the Seahawks to somewhat prepare for him to play on Sunday.
Haskins is expected to be ready to play Seattle, with an offensive gameplan to be tailored to his abilities. He has been taking all of the first-team reps in practice this week.
The former first-round pick completed 7-of-12 passes for 51 yards in relief of an injured Alex Smith during Washington’s 23-15 win at San Francisco last Sunday
