New York Mets fans who are hoping for a change in ownership might have been excited when there was a New York Post report last month that Alex Rodriguez could be a potential buyer after a deal with billionaire Steve Cohen fell apart.
So when A-Rod appeared on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon asked him to comment on the report, and the good news for those very same Mets fans is … he didn’t say no.
Rodriguez answered that he loves New York City and grew up a Mets fan, then added, “If the opportunity came up, I would certainly look at it.”
