[autotag]Mickey Gall[/autotag] has a tough task infant of him.
The 27-year-old fighter will take on [autotag]Alex Oliveira[/autotag] in a welterweight matchup at UFC on ESPN+ 27 in Norfolk, Va. on Feb. 29. The news was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
Gall (6-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) last competed in August when he outpointed Salim Touahr in a unanimous decision. Previously, the New Jersey native ,lost to Diego Sanchez in March. Gall’s entire professional career, with exception of one fight, has been in the UFC as he was brought in to fight former WWE pro wrestler CM Punk back in 2016.

On the other hand, Oliveira (19-8-1 MMA, 9-6 UFC) is one of the most seasoned veterans in the UFC’s 170-pound division. The Brazilian is on a three-fight losing streak and hasn’t won since September 2018. Before the recent skid, Oliveira was on a 6-1 run that included a submission win over former interim welterweight champ Carlos Condit. The 31-year-old fighter has been competing in the UFC since 2015 and has 15 fights in the promotion.
