The Oklahoma City Thunder will likely have Aleksej Pokusevski back against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, but Lu Dort was downgraded to questionable.
“Barring any sort of setback, Poku should be good to go,” said head coach Mark Daigneault. “We practiced yesterday and he felt really good, so we’re anticipating he’s in.”
Expect Pokusevski to start.
The rookie forward missed the last three games and the bulk of the game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to an arm issue. Over the second half of the season, he has averaged 12.2 points and 6.1 rebounds in 16 games, all starts.
Daigneault said Dort is a game-time decision but “we’re hoping he’s in.”
“Lu was really sore after the Detroit game. He was a little better yesterday, a little better this morning, but we wanted to take him through stuff on the court and some testing back here before we rule him in or out,” Daigneault said.
Dort has put up 15 points, 42 points and 26 points in the three games he has appeared in since coming back from concussion protocol.
Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Central Time. Tune to Bally Sports Oklahoma to watch.
