Jose A. Rodriguez Chucuan, who was best known for his headlining run in WWE as Alberto Del Rio and recently competed in Combate Americas as [autotag]Alberto El Patron[/autotag], recently was arrested in San Antonio and charged with sexual assault, according to a report by NBC News 4 San Antonio.
According to the report, Chucuan, a San Antonio resident, allegedly assaulted the victim, slapping her in the forehead. Chucuan then ordered the woman to put on a dress and dance for him, and told her that if she cried, Chucuan would “take her son and drop him in the middle of the road somewhere.” The report also stated Rodriguez committed a sexual assault.
According to Bexar County (Texas) public records, Chucuan was arrested May 9, held for several hours, then released on $50,000 bond after being charged with a second-degree sexual assault felony.
Although Rodriguez, who comes from a legendary Mexican wrestling family as the son of Dos Caras and nephew of Mil Mascaras, is best known for his work in pro wrestling, his most recent high-profile public appearance came in the MMA world through Combate Americas.

Rodriguez, who served in figurehead roles with the promotion, made his return to MMA in the main event of the promotion’s first-ever PPV card on Dec. 7. El Patron (9-6 MMA), who had not fought since 2010, was submitted by UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz at the 3:10 mark of the opening round.
